TIM ETCHELLS / FORCED ENTERTAINMENT (GB) & MEG STUART / DAMAGED GOODS (US/BE)
PRIVATE ROOM / STARFUCKER / DOWNTIME / I’M ALL YOURS / SOFT WEAR
As we talked it became clear that the solos we had developed seperately might sit well in dialogue together. Tim Etchells
In a remarkable double programme, Meg Stuart and Tim Etchells will be presenting five solo pieces that touch upon similar focal areas of work through very different means: linking the two artists is an interest in live and video material, in toying with the fragmentary, with abrupt transitions, with fading in and out. Through language and text, on the one hand, and movement, on the other, the renowned choreographer and dancer Meg Stuart and Forced Entertainment ›mastermind‹ Tim Etchells have conceptualized an evening that brings their respective artistic vantage points into reciprocal dialogue.
