An extra long ATELIER Spezial is on the programme at PACT Zollverein on Friday 9. and Saturday 10. April: Alongside the announced performances on the main stage, both evenings will also feature installations, video art, music and other live performance extracts which can be seen and heard throughout the building. All of the installations can be seen on both evenings. The house opens at 19.00 hrs.

Once upon a time in Petaouchnok

Life in Petaouchnok – a locality that is so remote that it may not even truly exist – acquires a touch of general validity through its normalcy: people recreate themselves through hate, humour, and seeming indifference. And they tell stories that feel familiar to everyone. For ›Once upon a time in Petaouchnok‹, Nada Gambier is working with professional performers and amateurs alike.

Second Life

Predicated upon the idea that utopias from both real life and the virtually created ›Second Life‹ increasingly come to resemble each other, Andros Zins-Browne has brought to life, together with young dancers and elderly amateurs, a portrait of a futuristic nursing home in his first group piece.

After completing his studies at P.A.R.T.S. in Brussels, Zins-Browne collaborated on ›The Kansas City Shuffle‹ with Sandy Williams.
